Affiliate and partner marketing

ClickBank - the practical guide.

ClickBank is a long-running affiliate marketplace and network focused on digital products, info products, supplements and recurring-billing offers. It pairs tracking and payments infrastructure with a marketplace of affiliates actively looking for high-commission offers to promote, and remains a major channel for direct-response and creator-led businesses.

What ClickBank does

ClickBank is a long-running affiliate marketplace and network focused on digital products, info products, supplements and recurring-billing offers. It pairs tracking and payments infrastructure with a marketplace of affiliates actively looking for high-commission offers to promote, and remains a major channel for direct-response and creator-led businesses.

Who it's for

Direct-response advertisers, info-product creators, course sellers and supplement brands with high-margin offers and the appetite to work with affiliate marketers driving paid and organic traffic. Less of a fit for low-margin physical ecommerce or B2B SaaS.

Pricing, in rough terms

USD 49.95 one-off activation fee, plus a per-transaction fee (around 7.5% + USD 1) on each sale. No monthly minimums. Affiliates are paid directly by ClickBank, removing the payout admin from the merchant.

When ClickBank is the right fit

Right when you have a high-margin digital or supplement offer with strong sales-page conversion and want immediate access to affiliates who already buy traffic. Wrong fit for low-margin ecommerce, B2B SaaS or any brand that can't tolerate the marketplace's direct-response style.

Watch-outs

ClickBank's brand association with hard-sell direct response can be a fit problem for premium brands - know your audience. Refunds and chargebacks need careful management; ClickBank holds reserves. Compliance with health, finance and 'income claim' rules is increasingly strict; review every sales page.
